Welcome Cocktail

The welcome cocktail will be kindly hosted by our sponsor Metropolitana Milanese (MM) at the ‘Centrale dell’Acqua’ site.

The “Centrale dell’acqua” (Water Power Plant) is a historic pumping station from 1906, part of the Milan Aqueduct. It hosts a museum run by MM, that focuses on environmental education and Milan’s technical, scientific, and cultural heritage, especially as it relates to the conservation and management of water resources. The space is also a symbolic place for new generations with a schedule dedicated to teaching, entertainment and participatory science. In 2018 this building became part of the network “Musei di impresa”.
